â€Å"Where are you from? † My stomach tightens and my mouth goes dry as I rack my brain for an answer that doesn't Involve explaining my entire life story. My anxiety over such a simple question may seem unnecessary, but I have spent the past seventeen years trying to come up with a suitable answer to that same question. I have grown up a proud daughter of a united States Army soldier, and in my father's line of work, never knowing where we'll be sent next is part of the job description. I was born in New York and from there moved to Georgia. Then we moved to Rhode Island, back to New York, Kansas,Virginia, and finally Washington. That's seven states. Not to mention, I have attended six different public schools and lived in seven different houses. You could say I've always been the new girl. My life is not Just in brown cardboard boxes though; it's picking up and moving at any given time. What can I say In response to this question? Should I say the snow drifts in New York be cause that's where I was born? Or should I say the rolling hills of Kansas because three years Is the longest Vive spent In one place? Some may feel sorry for me, but I couldn't Imagine Miming any other way.We are not defined by a geographic location, but rather the challenges we face and how we learn from them. Unexpected deployments and goodbyes have shown me that some lessons are harder than others, but I know that I am heading towards a bright future. Through my travels I have experienced a wide range of cultures and lifestyles that some can only dream of. Being an Army brat has made me adaptable, flexible, and empathic. So, a simple answer to this question Just wouldn't do my story Justice. I take a deep breath, smile, and say â€Å"I'm from everywhere. †

In this research, the correlation coefficient is +0.0563 and this number is closer to +1. It means these two variables do have positive correlation but just a slight positive correlation. In other words, if one variable is large the other one will tend to be large. However, +0.0563 is not very close to +1 and it does not reach half of 1, so it does not mean the more chocolate people have, the happier they will be. The +correlation can prove chocolate can have a slight positive effect on emotion and when people are happy they would like to eat chocolate to share the happiness. The data in the first three questions proved that most people like chocolate because of its taste, and eat it very often. However there is still 20% of people do not like it and do not eat it very often. By considering the fourth question, half of people think that chocolate could make them feel better when they are sad. It means chocolate does affect emotions, and help people escape bad mood. For the last question, 8 out of 10 agreed that eating chocolate is useful to reduce the stress and make people feel free. There is a research which was done by Gordon Parkey, (School of psychiatry, University of New South Wales), and they wrote the following result:  Ã¢â‚¬Ëœ Chocolate can provide its own hedonistic reward by satisfying cravings, but when consumed as a comfort eating or emotional eating strategy, is more likely to be associated with prolongation rather than cessation of a dysphonic mood. Any mood benefits of chocolate consumption are ephemeral.’  So it could be a kind of evidence that chocolate could affect emotion. And it indicates that chocolate has a short-time effect on emotion, but it could not last too long. Summary of analysis:  To sum up, the correlation between chocolate and emotion is positive, but it is not very high. By analyzing the data, chocolate could affect emotion and it may useful to help people to reduce stress and feel free. So the two hypothesizes are correct. However, it has to be admitted that the correlation coefficient is low. So the function of chocolate may be not very efficient for emotion. Conclusion In conclusion, this report uses the survey studies to investigate the correlation between chocolate and emotion.10 questions were made for 10 participants. The correlation coefficient is not very high, and it means although chocolate can affect emotion, it just would be a slight effect. The data indicates that chocolate can help people to be relax and happy.  However, in this research, the correlation between chocolate and emotion is not very strong. The reasons for the low correlation coefficient are various. Firstly, the number of participants is not enough. It is too small to get the general conclusion. Second reason is most of participants are Chinese. Compared with people in western countries, Chinese are not very fond of eating sweets. It is the cultural difference. The third reason is the design of this questionnaire is a little simple, and questions are not enough to investigate such a huge item.

As long as a living being continues to commit sins and do bad, it creates reasons for rebirth and thus the cycle continues till self-recognition which ultimately leads to enlightenment and nirvana. In Buddhism rebirth is considered as a continuous process and each subsequent rebirth takes place within one of the five realsms based on the karmas performed by the living being. Naraka being is the worst of all and people who are born as Naraka beings are bound to live in hell during that particular life. Another form of birth is Preta or the ghost-form. Being a human being is considered as the only type of life in which the attainment of final enlightenment and thus Nirvana is possible. Being an animal or a Deva (spirit or angel) are also forms of life which can be achieved after rebirth. Mahayana teachings have presented a sixth form of life after rebirth in which a pers on can be reborn as a demon or titan, this form is called Asura. A formless realm, ‘arupa dhatu’ can only be achieved by the people who can meditate with intense depth (Smith and Novak). The whole concept of Samsara, the cycle of suffering and rebirth is based on Karma is the Sanskrit word for the actions and deeds performed by a person in this world. The future life of the person after rebirth is based on the Karma performed by him during the present life. Buddhism gives a lot of importance to the impact of actions of a person on the surrounding people and environment and thus Karma is referred to those deeds and actions which are intentionally committed and have certain consequences on the individual and the surroundings. A person is supposed to receive a ‘Phala’ or fruit for his Karmas. There is a difference of opinion about Karma in the Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism with the later presenting the strict version of the two (Conze). According to Theravad a Buddhism, a person is responsible for his Karma and will receive reward or punishment for his bad or good Karmas but a Karma once committed is attributed to a person and there is no way in which the punishment can be avoided. However Mahayana presents a softer ideology and according to Mahayana texts, the negativity of bad Karmas can be obliterated by reciting the specific Mantras (McGovern). The reality of life is explained by the Four Noble Truths which were the first teachings of Gautama Buddha. The life of a person always leads to sufferings in one way or the other because of the cravings of living beings which never end. Ending the cravings is the only way in which a living being can put an end to the sufferings and achieve liberation from the circle of life. Ending the carvings and achieving liberation is possible by following the Noble Eightfold Path as guided by Gautama Buddha. The Eightfold Path is based on finding out the actual reality of things which is in most cases d ifferent from the apparent form. A person who wishes to achieve Nirvana should be pure in his intensions, truthful in his dealings and harmless in his actions. By virtue of his existence, a person is bound to commit sins and bad Karma because he cannot control his mind (Keown).
